CEO & Lead Director
Hi, I’m David Portillo, a recent graduate from Moe & Gene Johnson High School (Class of 2025) and proud CEO and Lead Director of FyrePix Photos, LLC. Since 2022, I’ve been part of building a business that brings joy, creativity, and unforgettable memories to events across Central Texas.
I’m currently training as a Photographer Apprentice, learning to master natural lighting, storytelling through images, and how to make every client feel confident and seen. From managing event setups to helping guests strike the perfect pose, I love being hands-on and making sure every detail runs smoothly.
Outside of FyrePix, I enjoy volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and local animal shelters, and I’m always looking for ways to grow as a creative and leader. Whether it’s a ribbon cutting, wedding, or birthday bash — I’m here to help make it a day to remember.

Meet Vanessa, the Texas OG behind FyrePix Photos! A Longhorn-loving, fun-loving entrepreneur with over 22 years in healthcare, Vanessa has a heart of gold.
Her passion for photography drives her to capture unforgettable moments, and she's always ready for a good time, whether behind the lens or hanging with friends.
Having spent years helping those with Alzheimer's and dementia, Vanessa brings a deep sense of care and connection to everything she does. When she's not working in healthcare, she's bringing her creative energy to every photo booth event and portrait session!
